Deviled Eggs

This cheap, easy to make classic dish is a time-tested crowd pleaser.

You will need:

6 hard-boiled eggs
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons mustard
Salt
Pepper
Paprika and chopped parsley for decoration

Preparation instructions:

Cut eggs in half
Scoop out egg yolks
Set egg whites aside
Mash egg yolks, mix with mayonnaise and mustard, add salt and pepper to taste.
Stuff egg whites with yolk mixture and chill in refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Optional: garnish with paprika and parsley

Variations:

TIP:  Empty egg-yolks into a Ziploc bag, add other ingredients, mash in the bag, then cut off the corner of the bag and squeeze right into the egg whites!

  • Prepare as above, except add 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese to egg yolk mixture
  • Chop 4 white mushrooms and 1 green onion. Saute in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Prepare eggs, as above, except add mushroom and onion mixture to the egg yolk mixture.
